Be a ruthless goddess and run this evil- feathery- bullying- gang-gat-holdin - bandana -wearin- pigeon over?

I usually walk to classes at my college during the week. Its a short stroll always filled with interesting characters and familiar noises such as horns honking, homeless people preaching about eggs benedict relating to jesus? and the all to constant creepy mens  tragic cat calling. 

One specific area in which I pass on this lovely walk , is the PNC builidng. Its a bright , happy little spot that I don't mind walking by, except there is a HERD of pigeons there . Theyre like a gang, they should probably be sporting bird size bandanas, I bet they re hiding miniature GAT'S in their nasty grey feathers.

This may sound a bit odd, but I promise you , these pigeons bully me. It is a daily occurrence that they almost either hit me flying, don't move like a damn road cone and I almost trip OR distract me because I'm so nervous that they will do the previously mentioned devilish acts THUS causing me to bump into someone and look more awkward than I already am.

My dad is convinced pigeons are robots .. he says " have you ever seen a dead pigeon? no!? ..exactly"
I resonded by sending him a googled pic of a dead pigeon
Expecting a victory email of my fathers theory failing, he said "Those are pigeons photo shopped flipped over , not dead"

ANYWAY today could have been my sweet sweet revenge... 

I was driving loving the world feeling fantastic about life sipping overly creamed coffee

when one of my ARCH NEMISIS'S was lounging in the middle of the street probably feasting on someones old hotdog

I think the sunshine is morphing my brain to this really giving generous , non pigeon , homeless quarter giving being.

The sun is-a-shinin

Just recently lounging and basking in Florida , I was terrified to step outside in the cold Pittsburgh-ian air. LUCKILY the sun was a-shinin and people were-a-movin and even had to take my wintery jacket off!

 Can it be!?! IS SWEET SWEET SUMMERY WEATHER HERE!?

cute little facts : Zachary Francis Condon started the band after he travelled in Europe discovering Balkan folk music. Spectacular Sunday

So this fantastic morning I have woken up with a kinda-sorta-uncomforting headache
and no, not a hangover headache , not like i went out to an epic party last night  , how dare you!

Nothing advil + coffee + shower + jams cant cure I SAY

So hello there blogging world.

My name is Lucy , I go to school in Pittsburgh and am from NY

I came to Pitt because I used to be a ballet dancer (full dance scholarship)

Followed by a year of being despairingly unfulfilled by dancing

Luckily I had this fantistic vice in which I spend every day concerning myself with ,

which is music

I've always been awkwardly attached to music 

Finding a new song is 39403 times better than finding a new pair of steve madden boots on sale ... which is spectacular btw..

And sharing a new song and rocking out to it and having the other listener feel what you felt when you heard it is better than getting a new pair of steve madden boots FO FREE... and thats unheard of 

I find myself overwhelmed when I go into record stores or faced with music blogs with huge collections, I immedietly want to catch on and be filled with this epic new knowledge and sound and story but I never know where to begin.. 

Just going through my itunes is tons of great music mixed with hundreds of songs ive downloaded just to keep up with the ever changing industry. Even artists that I know every song and lyric to I sometimes find myself not knowing any outside information about them, which is so lame because I really am interested in where there from and if their mom had influence on them and how many drugs they took before going on stage etc etc.

I refuse to keep living in the dark about artists that make everything so bright

SO THIS DAY 

I have decided to journey into blog world and excavate unknown territory of my music pile up

The way music effects me really is outrageous if you ask me

I can be in a terrible mood and hear some bumpin soul kickin Black Keys and feel alright

I can be doing dirty things with my boyfriend and if a sad song is on I feel like cuddling intimately instead of getting raunchy bahah

I wake up and the first thing I do is put my ipod on and somehow the music shapes my day

My goal of conventional rhythmic rhapsody is to shape someone's day, hour , minute or even second. If anyone could feel moved by the song I post then AMEN SISTAH // BROTHAH
